We start with the application, the priorities and the people already involved. The engagement defines the team mix, available capacity, ownership of decisions and how work will be reviewed. A fractional allocation is a planned share of the team’s time, so priorities need to fit that capacity.

How is this different from a dedicated full-time team?

A fractional engagement provides an agreed share of capacity. It does not imply an exclusively assigned, full-time team or unlimited availability. We discuss expected work, review points and how additional needs would be handled before the engagement begins.

Can the team work with our engineers?

Yes. We agree boundaries and shared practices so work fits with your existing team. If you already manage delivery and only need an individual specialist, staff augmentation may be a simpler fit. Senior technology strategy can be scoped separately through our fractional CTO service.
