Booking measurement in local storage

With your consent, we use local storage in your browser to measure requested and accepted bookings without counting the same stage again when you return to the page. Statistics consent controls analytics measurement; marketing consent controls advertising measurement.

  • Analytics duplicate guard — 30 days. bz_booking_analytics_v1 prevents duplicate analytics booking events.
  • Advertising duplicate guard — 30 days. bz_booking_marketing_v1 prevents duplicate advertising booking events.
  • Advertising handoff — five minutes. bz_booking_marketing_handoff_v1 carries a pending advertising event through the booking redirect.

These records contain an opaque booking reference and event timing or stage information. A pending handoff can also contain labels for the page, service and call button used. They do not store your name, email address, phone number or appointment details. These locally stored booking references are not included in our Google Analytics or LinkedIn events.

Pending handoffs are removed after dispatch or when you withdraw marketing consent. Expired handoffs are ignored and cleared when the tracker next runs with marketing consent. Withdrawing the relevant consent also clears its duplicate guard. You can change your choices using the cookie preferences control.
