Introduction
Bit Zesty is committed to driving out acts of modern-day slavery and human trafficking within its business and that from within its supply chains, including sub-contractors and partners.
This statement sets out the Company’s actions to understand all potential modern slavery risks related to its business.

- The Company recognises that it has a responsibility to take a robust approach to slavery and human trafficking;
- The Company is absolutely committed to preventing slavery and human trafficking in its activities and to ensuring that its supply chains are free from slavery and human trafficking;
- The Company will ensure transparency within the organisation and with suppliers of goods and services to the organisation;
- The Company Directors and Senior Management take responsibility for implementing this statement and its objectives.
Company Employees
- The company recognises the importance of ensuring employees are fully aware of and trained on our modern slavery policies. All employees will be provided with a written contract of employment and undertake training on our ethical code and standards.
- Each employee has a personal responsibility to read the policies and procedures as well as to ensure that they fully understand our obligations and the consequences associated with any breach of those obligations.
- Adequate resources will be provided (including training as necessary) and investment to ensure that slavery and human trafficking are not taking place within the Company nor within its supply chain.
- The Company encourages all its workers, customers and other business partners to report any concerns related to the direct activities or the organisation’s supply chains. This includes any circumstances that may give rise to an enhanced risk of slavery or human trafficking.
- The Company’s documentation makes clear to employees the actions and behaviour expected of them when representing the organisation. The organisation strives to maintain the highest standards of employee conduct and ethical behaviour.
Suppliers and Procurement
- The Company also engages IT contractors across various parts of the business. For these roles, we work directly with individuals and reputable IT sourcing companies.
- We require our suppliers and individual contractors to demonstrate that they provide safe working conditions, treat workers with dignity and respect, and act ethically and within the law in their labour practices.
- The Company collaborates with its suppliers and individual contractors to ensure they meet our standards and continuously improve their workers’ conditions.
- Any serious violations of our code of conduct will result in the termination of the business relationship.
Recruitment/Agency workers
- The organisation will source labour only from specified, reputable businesses and will always verify the practices of any new business it is using before accepting workers from that agency.
Due diligence
This policy statement takes into account and supports the policies, procedures and requirements documented by our company handbook.
Approval
This statement has been approved by the Company’s board, which will review and update it annually.
