What clients say about our Ruby on Rails support services
The best technical experience I ever had. Anyone who I needed to be in touch with or had issues was accessible, quickly responded and really held my hand as a non-technical CEO. I would sum up Bit Zesty really as part of our team - it felt like Bit Zesty was part of the movement we were building and supported our growth and evolution in a really crucial stage.

Our Work
We've been successfully delivering Ruby on Rails support projects for start-ups, charities, global corporations and government bodies since 2009.
Trussell Trust
Seamlessly taking over charity’s application support after an individual contractor build
Trussell Trust, a charity and the UK’s largest food bank organisation needed an experienced Ruby on Rails support agency to take over after an individual contractor built its Ruby on Rails application.
This cloud-based application helps to manage the operations of over 400 food banks, which serve over a million clients a year. More than maintaining the application and fixing any issues as they come up, over the years Bit Zesty made many enhancements, including continuously updating the application to the latest version of Ruby on Rails, integrating with Salesforce, creating a new stock control module and building a data visualisation system to drive awareness of poverty.
Diners' Club
Providing reliable business-critical support for a financial corporation
Diners’ Club’s third-party agency was struggling to provide the right level of Ruby on Rails support - so it got Bit Zesty to help.
The charge card company needed ongoing software support for its business-critical web application, which is the primary customer entry point for products and services, the merchant portal and the website. As part of the support service set-up, Diners’ Club also opted to redeploy the application to a high-availability and secure set-up on Amazon Web Services (AWS). Additionally, we have upgraded the application to the latest Ruby on Rails version and extended the functionality to meet Diners’ Club’s changing business needs.
Lupin Systems
Supporting existing app suite as well as creating new Ruby on Rails application
Lupin Systems wanted to partner with a company that does not only provide support but can also extend its suite of apps by building new Ruby on Rails applications.
Lupin Systems offers software solutions for occupational health and safety management. We were contracted to provide two services: 1. To support and maintain their existing Ruby on Rails application suite by providing helpdesk support, fix any issues, make Ruby on Rails version upgrades; 2. As our services also include new feature development, project management and user research, Lupin Systems asked us to build a new app to streamline its hazardous material auditing process.
Bit Zesty enabled real-time auditing by developing two applications that sync: a tablet app to be used by auditors and a web app to be used by the facilities managers. This system allows auditors working on-site and managers working in the office to view the latest data at the same time. This dramatically increases collaboration between the two groups of users, making it easier for them to ensure compliance with health and safety standards.
